Joseph A. Koncilja has been fighting for Pueblo and its people for over 30 years. A Pueblo native, Joe earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Southern Colorado and acquired his legal education at the University of Denver College of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate in 1979. Joe founded the Koncilja law firm in 1982 and, five years later, joined by his brother James, formed Koncilja & Koncilja, P.C. Joe is a frequent lecturer for Colorado Continuing Legal Education, a founding member of the National College of DUI Defense, and a member of the American Bar Association, as well as having the distinct honor of being selected a Fellow of American Bar Foundation. Joe is also a member of the American Trial Lawyers Assocation, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Assocation, the Pueblo Bar Assocation, and the Colorado Bar Assocation. For over three decades, Joe and James have been investing in Pueblo and working to beautify the city and improve their hometown's civic life.
