Melissa Esquibel was raised on Pueblo's East side. Upon Graduating from Central High School, she traveled up I-25, graduating from The Colorado College and University of Denver College of Law. She has been with Koncilja and Koncilja since graduating from Law School in 1997. Melissa has been a director of the Lower Arkansas Valley Water Conservancy District since its formation by voters in 2002. As a director her aim has been to help keep water in Southeastern Colorado to maintain the viability of agriculture. She is also an appointed member of the Fountain Creek Watershed Flood Control and Greenway District. As an attorney in the offices of Koncilja and Koncilja, Melissa has spent much of her practice in Pueblo and surrounding areas. Melissa has developed a genuine fondness for the people of Southeastern Colorado and the unique communities from which they come.
